AA runs into scare card on turn
Stars $11 20k guaranteed.
No significant reads on opponents here. Villian seems solid and isn't too tricky, but just makes consistently good value bets. My image is slightly loose, but not much. I've had a decent run of cards at the 15/30 and 25/50 blind level, and recently doubled up about 6 hands ago with AA vs. a horribly played 88. I'm raising preflop maybe twice per round. Re: AA runs into scare card on turn
OOP SB bets AI on the turn w/a str8 board.... hmmm
He may have hit two pair here or maybe holding 77, maybe a set and wants to get paid off if someone is on a draw? Either case, I think your behind here... |

Re: AA runs into scare card on turn
i think he's taking the play away from you
he knows whatveer you hold can't call that big of a bet with a 4 card straight board (only one hand has him beat - 77) good play by him with a set most likely or he's stealing like i said and knows you can't call...and he's from the BB all factors towards the perfect bluff/or he really has the goods and is protecting for his life |

Re: AA runs into scare card on turn
I am kind of with dhillon here. If he has a straight, why bet so much? It seems like he's trying to get me to fold here.
If he has a set, he probably can't put me on a 7 given my play thusfar, so again, does he really expect me to call here? Given this bet I'm sure he's been paying attention to my play thusfar, but I don't think my play has indicated I would call massive overbets like this with a small hand. I'm not sure I have strong answers to either of these questions, I just want to put them out there. |

Re: AA runs into scare card on turn
Agree it doesn't make much sense for him to bet this big if he has a straight, looks more like he is protecting something here.A set,2 pair definately possible. I would think you are behind, although I guess he could be bluffing. If he did flop 2 pair/set I would think he'd c/r the flop.Still,I would fold like the wuss I am.

Re: AA runs into scare card on turn
I think this has to be a fold, so many times this happens to be at least two pair here.
It's tough to fold aces, but they aren't always the nuts all the time. |
