OK i just heard, from TOP source, that Led Zeppelin is getting back together for ONE show...in O2 stadium in LONDON! For charity. Robert Plant and the other 2 original guys , and the drummer is still not released, but prob the son of Bobby . WOW. In Nov. Creative ideas on how to get there?

Who all else is stoked about this??

You sound like a huge fan! I'd be stoked if they came to America, where their real (early-on) fans were!!!

I editted that real quick- I was SOOOOOO excited that i typed too fast and thus f'd up but corrected it very quickly; and it's all right now. want me to name the band members for everyone, i'll edit once again...just for YOU! omg.

edit: too late to edit the original post- but i just assumed everyone knows the band members...and i was trying to keep it a short, easy read post...but Robert Plant has spoken with Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones...and possibly John Bonham's son will play drums b/c he's sat in w/the band many times.

Do they know the date(s) yet? I gotta imagine this is going to be an expensive ticket though.

Does anyone else think this could be really sad? On the newest DVD, the 1979 performance was just depressing. John Paul Jones' solo stuff has been the best of the three, but no one seems to know about it.

Greatest Band getting back together...

Yes, I know. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are reuniting to play their 5-night Hometown Throwdown in Cambridge this December. I'm excited.

Well, they're the greatest _live_ band ever anyway. Them or the Jesus Lizard.
