Default 50NL: QQ SB vs. BU

No stats on villain. Only played a few hands. He's raised a few. Seems to be a TAG, though not sure how good. Do you bet this flop or check? If flop checks through do you bet turn?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $50.00
BB: $8.10
UTG: $38.15
MP: $30.00
CO: $48.45
BTN: $53.65

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q (6 Players)
UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $2.75, Hero raises to $9.75, 3 folds, BTN calls $7.00

Flop: ($21) 2 K K (2 Players)
Hero ?

my normal line is to bet this flop, probably around 16 or so. That's a pretty good flop for QQ, if he raises you've got a decision to make, but i'd be getting it in on a non-diamond/ace turn, if he just calls behind on flop.

@vizion
if we bet and he calls an ace is irrelevant, because AQ won't call the flop and we loose to AK/AA anyway.

If I am betting this flop its probably the last $ i put in

very [censored] spot

Yeah I wouldn't like to see that flop.. I think villain has AA almost always here. Does he really call preflop with anything less than KK/AA,AK? I think best line here is to c/rai if he'd fold AA. Otherwise try to check this down - check/fold - tho this is easy to say here not sure if I could really let this go.

Agreed its a [censored] spot but I think QQ is good a lot of the time. The problem is we don't know much about villain here. Depending on the player he could be calling that RR with anything as low as 99 but I think he has JJ here quite a bit of the time though, not just AK/AA

yeah eh could have a lot of hands here but when such flop happens, when we bet out we generally fold out all the hands that beat us and get action from the hands which have us dominated.

See your point, guess i thought about it in a different way ...it's late

So is the thinking bet fold to a raise? or check see what he does/re-eval turn?
