Was reading about preflop semi-bluff raising when others have entered the pot. NLHTAP uses a QJs and Q8o as their example, pg.104-105. Normally I might have folded this but decided to take a shot here with what I had been studying.
MP1 was 56/0.00/3.5 with only 25 hands. He was deep stacked and had pushed AI a number of times forcing others off their hands. Good or bad application here? Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 9 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $2.30 BB: $3.70 UTG: $10.55 UTG+1: $10.00 MP1: $32.05 MP2: $10.80 MP3: $4.35 Hero (CO): $9.55 BTN: $8.25 UTG+1 posts $0.10 Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (9 Players) UTG folds, UTG+1 checks, MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.60, 4 folds, MP1 calls $0.50 Flop: ($1.45) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) MP1 bets $0.10, Hero raises to $1.35... EN |

I love raising preflop against people that post OOP.
