77 easier to play, ak more profitable - but the situation is also important. shorthanded/heads-up i prefer the ak for sure, full ring is close, probably 77 better

this is why omaha is the true pros game. Ive been dealt both ak and 77 at once. then i won the pot.

Tails is actually a %50.00001 favorite over heads.

According to Doyle he prefers to get AK over AA, so I think it says everything we need to know.

Doayallle is taking about deep money NLHE cash.

AK wins more money in the long run than 77 if played correctly.

Hey,

I got into a debate with a buddy about how I rather have 77over AK. He was saying that AK is a top 5 hand and 77 is not anywhere near the list, yet 77 is favored over AK heads up, and if the flop doesn't hit, 77 is a big favorite...

What do you think? Which would you rather have...and why? Can you give me a situational example as well.

Thanks!

heads up 77s but full ring or short handed ak all the way, with 77 your not going to dominate anyone.. with ak you are going to dominate most of the time!!
