Default JJ in BB>>> Victim of my error?

I had repopped this guys several times during the session, he laid down everytime. I figured I'd let him into a flop with me. At this point, I'd say he was somewhat frustrated with me. Is my fold here a good fold??? Based on my play throughout the hand, its possible he had any 2 cards... thoughts and advice please.

Raise flop or C-R turn. I still 3bet preflop, a little more than pot, even with this history.

lol...one of the purposes of 3betting light is so you get more value on your big hands.

If you have a 3betting history with this villian JJ is a monster...you must 3bet.

You lost a ton of value not doing this.

I agree that I totally misplayed this hand for a number of reasons:

1. I didn't 3 bet to determine the strength of his hand
2. I didn't check-raise flop to find out where I was
3. The combination of these errors led to me folding on the river cause I had no idea where I was.

learning experience I guess... LOL

Agreed. You're playing backwards poker if you don't raise your premium hands as well as your lesser hands pf.

this hasn't really been picked up yet but your river bet is pretty terrible, looks like a blocking bet looking to be raised out. Either bet 1/2 pot or c/c following such an...unorthodox line.

Totally agree with you. I was trying to switch gears and vary my play but as a result I got outplayed... Everytime I try and vary my play I seem to get cracked or outplayed.
