I find the psychology of this utterly amazing. The lengths it takes - both physically and emotionally - to go through that sort of conversion...wow, I just, don't know how someone mentally can go through what that takes.

Especially given the notoriety he/she gained...bottom line, it's going to hurt in the pocketbook..maybe not initially, but in the end, most definitely. Sadly, regardless of what's behind his/her decision, she can expect mocking, jokes, derisive behavior for many years.

Kinda sad we as a society are ok with that sort of mean behavior with as far as..well..we've come over the last 100 years. Bottom line for me, if she's happy, then fantastic.

That being said..wow..um, quite a lot to go through.
