I fold pre flop.

People like 13/5/0.6/38 just dont raise anything short of QQ, AA, KK. If you fold the river you should also fold the turn drawing to 4? outs and getting 8:1. I dont think you make up for a lot with implied odds.

[/ QUOTE ]

4 outs? you put him on QQ and only QQ? and you have the QJ so its the case Q?

and i dont really get folding pf getting like 8:1.

Villain did not raise PF, he cold-called, so did SB, folding getting 7-1 closing the action with suited broadways would be insane.

Nobody seems to have answered OP's question as to whether it would have been better for him to bet the flop, as opposed to attempt a check/raise.

I would have preferred to donk bet the flop as opposed to attempt a check/raise. Thats because you cant guarantee that the preflop raiser (whose stats we dont know) or anyone else will bet if he has something like AK,JJ or TT.

The flop is quite coordinated with the 2 flush and possible straight draws. Your top pair could be the best hand, and if it was, I would not like to see the flop checked through.

welcome to 2 hours ago

I was going to say that I like a donk on this flop. Also, I think this is the kind of villain that would pfcc 88/QQ/KQs, and not fire the third barrel with the busted FD on the river. This is almost always 88.

Aren't we check-raising here because if we bet and pfr raises we are beat, so we check-raise?
