I don't always play AQo UTG. I either raise or fold, usually leaning towards a fold.

I do, unless I have a loose player that I expect to call that won't put me in tough spots or if the game is weak-tight.

I am surprised how many players aren't playing this UTG. I generally never fold it. The choice is between a limp and a raise, not a raise and a fold.

Also, sometimes I will limp this and reraise it.

First of all, this is not a weird spot. It's pretty standard and highlights how playing out of position sucks. Given KurtSF's range, we have 61% equity, which sounds rather high. Some of these hands are played this way less often than others, though, so I think 61% equity is quite generous.

How about calling here then bet/folding safe turns and check/folding bad ones.

You have no reads on villain, other than he's a fairly tight, standard player. He seems to be making a standard move, probably trips, but possibly a str8 or flush draw semi-bluff. W/ out better info., you should fold, because you're likely behind now w/ little chance of catching up, and if you are ahead, there's a decent chance you won't be by the river.

Only one in four turn cards are "safe". Can putting $4 more into the pot be a good idea when you are planning on doing so much folding on the turn? Even with 61% equity you need a lot of IO to make up for putting in more money when you're planning on c/fing 70+% of turn cards, no.

Are you counting 7s and 9s as bad cards? I think they're actually very good cards, possibly the best in the deck. Not the seven of spades, of course.
