NL: Medium overpair(99) OOP
What is the standard line here? If lead what to do to a reraise(and on the turn)?
In this party villain was a very loose player, who tend to call down a lot of hands. (He was lucky, not a very good player.) But im mostly interested in how do u play it against an unknown. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $48.50 BB: $67.80 UTG: $141.65 MP: $27.85 CO: $94.10 BTN: $64.20 Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 Players) 2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, BTN folds, Hero calls $1.25, BB folds Flop: ($3.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Pot Size: $3.50 Hero?? |

I bet this. Your Opponent hasn't showen any strength so far. He most likely ist on two overcards and if he don't make a continuation bet, he can draw for free. Let him pay to see the turncard.

Re: NL: Medium overpair(99) OOP
There is no standard line vs. an unknown. These are tough situations. I usually change it up here, sometimes bet out (to try to take it down with a good but vulnerable hand), sometimes c/c (pot control because your hand really isn't all that strong), sometimes c/r (to pick off a cbet, with showdown value if it doesn't work).
If you get raised, all you can do is use your Spidey-sense, although a fold can't be far wrong. |
