Miles, your biggest problem is that you assume everyone else is as smart as you think you are. Because he never ever ever has an overpair or cheese there. Right.

No. That was about the last card I caught. Everyone else however...God [censored] poker is so [censored] stupid, and the stupid people keep [censored] [censored] me.

(Not even that bad a night, but my psychological BR is obviously depleted hence me snapping at Miles.)

I have to agree with myles unless this guy is spew monkey and also thinks your a spew monkey, turn cap is pretty bad.

Altho I do stuff like that all the time...

FWIW I understand. Im on a 200BB downsiwng in 2 days after a sick sick heater and have been tilting viciously at times. This game is too f*ckin swingy.

Here's an example tilt hand today that is literally the worst beat I have ever pull on someone.

wow, rofl.

c'mon. i stab at you and others when i think you make clearly incorrect plays. you c/r flop and he 3-bets. then top card pairs.

already this results in less than 100% overpairs betting the turn. i only played 700 hands today and saw two people check flopped overpairs after this exact flop action. sample size? no. this happens all the time.

so he bets turn, and now you check raise. WHY WOULD HE 3-BET AN OVERPAIR? look at the combos of overpairs vs. 98 T9 J9 Q9 K9 and A9. there are 30 combos vs. 24 combos of better nines. discount the overpairs a bit and you come to - guess what - an obviously incorrect turn cap on your part. this is ignoring full houses with 22 and 33 which are well within anyone's button opening range. also, do you really think it is part of your argument to say he has "cheese" in his range? you're not making any more vs. cheese by capping than calling and letting him spew on the river.

why do you think i'm taking shots at you? i'm not assuming anything outlandish about your opponent. you misplayed your hand - without a doubt. you got lucky, and you won. i think heisenb3rg got a bit lucky that he read his opponent as a pure moron when he checkraised his nut straight on the 9TJQK board earlier in this thread. i commented there, too. please, comment on any hand i post in this thread if you think i play it incorrectly.
