$11 20k Guranteed on Stars. Overs and a gutshot facing min-raise.
This is my second hand at this table as I got moved right after I tripled up. Maybe I am just being results oriented but is this a pretty standard shove?

yeah i mean u have zero fold equity. he's mini raising when he is extremely pot committed. 999??
yeah the pot size bet is bad. i assume you only end up with 7 outs. but the big bet basically committed you. |

I am curious to see what ranges you think this guy has, plus I don't understand how I only have seven outs. I have two overs to the board (6) a gutshot, (10), plus a backdoor flush draw, which I think makes the total 11.5 outs. Plus I do think I have some FE.

When he calls, he has a K, Q, or T quite often so you have to cut down on your outs.

Re: $11 20k Guranteed on Stars. Overs and a gutshot facing min-raise.
11.5 is the most optimistic scenario. when he has a flush draw you are in very bad shape. he might have JK. or something reducing your outs.
it might be wrong to say you have 7 outs buts it also wrong to say you have 11.5. the truth though is closer to 7 because against certain hands your out are like 2 hes getting like 4 to 1 call your bet i really dont think you have fold equity. i doubt the min raise is weak here considering he min raised a full pot bet where he knows you probably are not foldign with all the chips you have invested. |
