Only fitting I'm the commish of my pool and draft dead last in a 11 man ppc league. With really early QB runs, and the disadvantage of picking last, I decided to take a lot of gamble players in the hopes that one comes back to max potential. How I do ? Qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/te/flex/k/def 8bench

S Smith
Maroney
Ronnie Brown (I know, I'm not big on it either)
Lee Evans
Hasselback
Portis (gamble pick #2)
M Clayton
Cooley
Norwood (I thought this was ok value here)
Kitna (also ok value)
Witten
Curtis (seemed solid as #2 guy in phili)
Dunn (so I get both atlanta guys)
Carolina D (wasn't much left)
Miami D (Liked this)
Jenkins (super value this late)
Rackers

Hasselbeck looks too high, especially since you got Kitna later. Brown at 33 and Portis at 56 are both good values I think.

ya the QB run before Hasselbeck was bananas. I liked him better then Kitna, and really kitna fell far and fast after. But to give you an idea Manning, Palmer, Bulger, Brees all went in top 2 rounds, with Brady, rivers, Mcnabb going in the 3rd. I'd never seen a run like that !

Sup all.

Sorry I haven't been participating in FF discussion here yet, as it's definitely one of my strongest games gambling wise. Alas, I have been busy pokering, getting ready for school, and besides I always like to draft as late as possible to get the clearest idea on every players' status.

Looking to repeat my championship performance this year, where last year I took down a $500 CBS Sportsline winner-take-all league for $3.5k.

I'm done with CBS Sportsline money leagues for good I think, despite me banking off them. They just rake in too much and only pay one spot, despite having one of (if not) the best FF sites around.

This year I'm playing in a fantasyheadquarters.com 12-team league, $500 buy-in. It's pretty similar to the standard CBS rules, except the rosters are much deeper (18 man compared to 14 man), which should make the waiver wire extremely thin. Also, instead of Defenses being credited with Special Teams TDs, the player that scored the TD is credited instead. Another difference, for the playoffs, the top four teams with the best records advance, instead of 3 division winners and 1 wildcard. The best difference is the prize-structure: $2.2k for 1st, $1.3k for 2nd, $900 for 3rd, and $250 for 4th.

On to my team, again this is for a 12-team, standard scoring league, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 Defense.

(# drafted overall in parentheses)

QB: Donovan McNabb (33), Jason Campbell (112)
RB: Brian Westbrook (9), Ronnie Brown (16), Fred Taylor (64), LaMont Jordan (88)
WR: Marques Colston (40), Randy Moss (57), Braylon Edwards (81), Vincent Jackson (105), Isaac Bruce (136)
TE: Ben Watson (129), Dallas Clark (153), Daniel Owen (160)
K: Josh Brown (184), Josh Scobee (208)
DEF: Bengals (177), Bills (201)

How'd I do?

Wow. You're a bit weak at QB, but yeah, u got absolutely ridiculous value on almost all of your WR's/RB's.

Need some advice on a trade offer... TD worth 6 pts for all players, TDs over 50 yards count double (12)

My team:

Peyton Manning
Brett Favre
Maurice JonesDrew
Deuce Mcallister
Julius Jones
Dominic Rhodes
Marvin Harrison
Calvin Johnson
Dante Stallworth
Drew Bennet
and some kickers and Ds and TEs

Trade proposal is Marshawn Lynch and DJ Hackett for Julius Jones. I am pretty sure I'm gonna do it. It is a keeper league as well, in case that matters.
