NL$50 & NL$100: c-betting low paired flops
I open from LP w/ 2 big cards. One of the blinds calls.
Flop: 747. Blind checks, I... C-betting these flops used to be money in the bank, but lately I've been getting check-raised a hell of a lot. How do I adjust my game? Tighten my LP opening reqirements? C-bet less? Start 3-betting with air? |

Re: NL$50 & NL$100: c-betting low paired flops
open pushing is the obv answer. your going to have a lot of people playing back at you cause you've shown strength in previous hands. Judging by the villians playing style, I'd put his range on 22-QQ and perhaps A10o-AKs. If you open push, you'll easily elimenate A10o-AKs, and probably put 22-QQ to the test. Even if he's got QQ you've still got 3 outs.. and you could hit you jack on the turn adding 2 more outs. I bet you'll win this pot 99% of the time here, and thats plenty enough judging by the stack sizes. Play it like a tournament, your trying to win all the chips at the table. Really it's just a standard play, don't know why you'd asked such a specific question.

Both of your posts mention nothing about your opponents. If you want to adjust your game, start paying attention to theirs.

True, but I'm not talking about a specific occurrence, and what I could have done differently one time. I'm talking about something that happens repeatedly, and am looking for general advice on how to adjust my over-all strategy.

You adjust differently based on your table image, your opponent, and stacks.

Re: NL$50 & NL$100: c-betting low paired flops
Here's my table image: I started off playing aggressively, and was having some success. Then once or twice I got played back at and had to fold. I get KQo in the CO open for 4BB. one of the blinds calls, flop is 774, rainbow.
My opponent and I have full stacks. How would you play here versus different types of opponents. |

Re: NL$50 & NL$100: c-betting low paired flops
general questions suck, and so will my general answers
TAG - cbet, done after any aggression LP - no point cbetting w/o a piece Aggro-donk - he'll raise most c-bets, so randomly mix in 3-bet and the occaisional c/f. |
