I'm scared of her father, even before this whole thing happened. Once I was joking with my girlfriend and I said something about how her dad must be in the mafia. She got all serious and was like "no, no way." Kinda weird.

I'm pretty scared of her dad. I'm not sure what to do. I like this girl, but I'm definitely not ready to have a kid. I'm just a dumbass 20 year old college student. I'm not looking for any serious advice but I just want to say that this situation really sucks.

Sounds like getting married is out of the question so that narrows the outcomes.

1. She has an abortion. It's over move on.

2. She has the kid. You take part in the kids life, pay child support yadda yadda. Probably the right outcome.

3. She has the child you pay child support but don't see the child. Maybe second best.

4. She had child and you have nothing to do with it financially or otherwise. Pussy move

Yes. what did I miss? I thought my #2 outcome was very "human like" (I labeled it best outcome). He obviously cannot marry the girl but in my mind he should take responsibility and give the child a true father. However if he is unable to be a good father it is probably best he just pay for his mistake and have no interaction with the child. A father that has no desire to be with the kid but still takes part in his/her life is probably worse that a father that has nothing to do with the kid.

I don't think I could live with myself if I just up and ran off and leave her with a kid. I think it's either she gets the abortion, or we move in together and make it work. We're both in school full time so we'll have to make some changes there. Like, I guess that I might have to take fewer classes and work more hours at my job. Or maybe her dad would pay our rent or something. Her family is quite balla.
