Default NL 25 Deep W/ Overpair

Ok, here villan is 37/12/.67 through 150 hands. I was two to his left and had been three betting him for the past 30 minutes or so, but with mainly legit hands. His image of me if it matters with this stats, is a somewhat tight 20/17 player and i had not shown down any bluffs or anything ridiculous.

I think his range is so high here that you have to call. A lot of the time I think I would see an A high flush draw.

FWIW, it seems like recently whenever I've called big postflop overpushes like this one it's turned out that I'm up against two pair or better.

That's anecedotal evidence over a small sample, but this Villain is very passive in general, which I also find discouraging.

It's entirely possible he's getting sick of you, but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't hoping for a call. Also, it he's got a hand like 7c6c, he may realize that his hand is vulnerable.

But I wish I had a better idea how to interpret these big postflop overpushes. As I suggested at the start of this post, I haven't been guessing well lately.

This is a tough one. 0.67 is very passive.

Then again if you've been re-raising him a lot lately it's possible he's taking a stand with a smaller overpair. I think I might have to call here, but it's very close.

I call here, but I have to agree with Nick C. I have been on the wrong end when making these calls.

However, I continue to make them. I really think he has something between 88-JJ.
