Short stacker is unknown and insignificant.
MP is a solid regular who I respect. Stats are approximately 16/10/3. He usually folds to my 3bet bets when he raises in LP (assuming he is raising light) and i usually don't 3bet him light when he opens from EP. I have no notes about him 4betting, so i don't know what he cold call means. He may be capable of setting a trap here with a big pair. HERO (BB) $100 UTG+1 $10 MP $100 Hero is dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG+1 calls $1, MP raises to $4, Hero raises to $12, UTG+1 calls $9, MP calls $8 and is all in. Flop: ($34) K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero? My read is telling me that he needs at least TPTK to continue. If he doesn't have TPTK, i don't think he will take a stab at it and he will want to show down cheap. Essentially, i'm asking if a c/f line here is too weak. |

if he often folds to 3/bets, i would not bet this flop. you now beat nothing and pretty much turn your QQ into a bluff (as in, whether or not he thinks you have AA/KK/JJ.)
even if he isn't setting a trap here, you're only beating AQ and TT. if he checks turn as well, i fire 3/4 and look to take it down against small PP's that decided they had odds to play. |
