Spewing more chips here? (more blind defense)
Villain has 16 / 13 / 1.8 over like 30 hands, so useless information. I didn't want to give up the turn, and I feel like a wuss calling things like this all the time and not taking semi bluff shots here and there. Let me know what you think.

Re: Spewing more chips here? (more blind defense)
I hate it. If you want to make a trustworthy bluff, c/r flop and lead turn. This is the worst spew I've seen for a long time. It was brave of you to post this and I hope you'll learn to never play like this again. Keep working on you game Platonic we all have done stupid things in beginning.

Re: Spewing more chips here? (more blind defense)
Turn c/r are rarely successful at the low-stakes, if only because the villain doesn't want to be seen betting air. It's sometimes worth a shot on a dry board.
The flop isn't great for you, but it's probably not great for him either. If you were going to make a play, I'd do it on the flop and bet the turn. look on the bright side - next time in this situation you have a hand, you'll be more likely to get action. |

I dont think its as bad as gvasa makes it out to be but its not good. I like to have a little more of a semibluff before I screwplay with it and its also important to have more of a read on the villain when making more advanced moves.

that card makes a lot of draws possible so you're going to get looked up light
if you have recently used this line with a flopped pair+ you will probably get more credit |

I do this with strong to medium made hands pretty often.
