Under 50 for sure. Across all sites there are what, only a few 50-100+ games going on?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's doable at 10/20 and 25/50 though. Probably even 5/10.

[/ QUOTE ]

Samo made 6 million at 10/20!

you can probably get a decent idea by looking at the hsdb numbers for a particular site and then determining how many players/100 are going to book a million, and then working that against the total player numbers on pokersitescout or something to get a rough idea. I'm def. in the camp of "not that many players are winning huge long term" though.

I would vote for the under but I think it is fairly close.

Some brief assumptions. Good regs at 25/50 NL and above should be making this amount (less than 20 buyins a month) if they are playing full time and some are capable of making this much playing 10/20 and 5/10 IMO (although this would certainly require more play). If we assign an arbitrary ten such players to each network/site then we are coming fairly close to the stated figure. Add to that a non-negligible component of Limit holdem (100/200 and higher) and Omaha players and we are certainly not far off the mark.

As several have stated however it is pretty much impossible to quantify so I don't know how you plan on settling this bet.

Think so? has anyone ever cleared 1M playing 25/50? Are you including rakeback in this bet btw?

[/ QUOTE ]

Rakeback/FPPs/etc. should be included IMO.

LA is up 600K at 5/10, apparently, so far this year.

Well you could start by listing some of the obvious ones, (sbrugby, bennyamine etc.) I'm sure we could come up with at least 20 that are known to us.

Who's "LA"? Even assuming a solid winrate of 5 PTBB at 5/10 (basically $1 / hand), you're telling me he's played 600K hands this year (averaging 75,000 / month)??? Sick if true.

I think # > $1M is greater than 25...and certainly under 250. I take under-125 all day long.

600k hands in 8+ months isn't a big deal. to many, ( not me) it's slacking.

Dunno the "record", but I'd not be surprised if someone like nations or rainkhan( in SNG's) has played 250k+ in one month.
