Re: **NOT** A success story
This really pissed me off. After a nice chain of emails, most of which were handled by different support personnel, some bitch sends me this:
__________________________________________________ ______ Hello XXXXX, Thank you for your email. Please be advised that when you make a cashout request, it may take up to 72 hours for the transacion to be processed and the funds credited to the eCheck account. Then, it can take the bank from 3 to 5 business days in posting the funds to your bank account. Regards, Marlene PokerStars Support Team __________________________________________________ _____ She clearly didn't take the time to read through any of the previous emails that were referenced in my latest reponse (and which were attached to my email). Instead, she looks at the title and sends me this carbon copy reponse. Dumb [censored]. So I sent this back: Marlene, I am very well aware of this, please forward my email to Steven T or take the time to read the entire chain of emails. It has been well over the allotted time (3-5 days) for my first transaction, and it should currently be under investigation as to what the cause of the delay is. I am well beyond the point of receiving prewritten answers to questions pertaining to my situation like the one you sent me. I am being very understanding and patient, but I do not want my issue to get lost in a crowd of "standard cash out questions" because someone does not take time to properly take a look at what the issue is. The support team has been very helpful so far, but I want to make sure my issue does not get shelved. Thanks, XXXXX I did my best to keep things professional, but goddamn I wanted to drop some [censored] expletives. |

Re: **NOT** A success story
Hello XXXXX,
I apologize for not making myself clear in my previous email. I was referring to your last cashout in the amount of $X,XXX. I will forward your email to Steven as per your request. Please rest assured that your email or concern, will not get lost in a crowd of "standard cash out questions" as you state. Regards, Marlene PokerStars Support Team __________________________________________________ ________ Her response time was like 10 minutes tops, which is awesome. |

Re: **NOT** A success story
I'm still waiting for my deposit to hit my bank account. Today would be the third business day since my deposit on Friday afternoon. Hopefully it pops up by the weekend.
Also, has anyone succesfully received a withdrawl in their bank account through echeck? If not, I might just request a check and deposit it the old fashioned way. |

Re: **NOT** A success story
[ QUOTE ]
This is [censored], looks like you and I are in the same boat. The 3-5 days has passed for me as well (as you can see in my previous post). I also made another, larger withdrawal a few days after my first one (before the delay issue), which has now been "released" and therefore I cannot cancel it. It now has the same fate as my first cashout (this second one was more than twice as big). They have been very, very fast in replying to my emails for sure (much less than 24 hours for each response), but of course, nothing of substance has occurred. I just want my money. [censored] [/ QUOTE ] Yeah same boat. Lots of words, but nothing substantive yet. However I was lucky and got my second withdrawal canceled just in time. last message from em Hello XXXX, I am sending you this as an update as you have requested many times, and I apologise for not responding sooner. I was holding out to send you some good news, but at present we are still awaiting confirmation from the processors of what the problem is. There is still no indication of a timeframe for this issue to be resolved, however we expect it to be sometime this week. I thank you for your patience so far, and I will continue to chase this matter on your behalf. I will be in contact once I have more information or answer any questions you may have. Regards, Jonathan, PokerStars Payments. |

Re: **NOT** A success story
I wonder why the PokerStars.com website still has this under the ECHECK section.....
"Instant eChecks are currently unavailable for Canadian players. We do not have an estimated time for when eChecks will be available again. In the meantime, we suggest that you use ePassporte or Moneybookers to make a deposit at PokerStars. For information on any of our other deposit methods, please visit our Real Money page or email us at support@pokerstars.com. PokerStars stopped accepting deposits and cashouts from US players via eChecks as of the evening of January 17th, 2007. " [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] |

Re: **NOT** A success story
It wasn't enough of a delay for me to really care. It was likely eChecks just had some technical error during processing or something like that. A few extra days is no big deal, if it had been a month I'd definitely demand some information.

Re: Poker Stars Instant EChecks
I deposited $200 to PokerStars from my BofA account exactly 2 weeks ago. Pokerstars credited me the cash but the withdrawal has not hit my account yet. Guess I better win back that $200, huh?
