Default Q9s from the button vs SB 3 bet

SB is 23/15/ 2.3 I have 18k hands with him and his loserate is .84 BB / 100. I don't understand why hes losing because I always read him as a solid player, which is why I didn't want to play the hand the way I did but couldn't think of anything better, let me know what you think.

he's losing over a small sample because of variance and because he needs to play more hands. whatever though. you played your hand perfectly here.

Is this me?

If you have 18K hands on him then you might have a good SB 3-betting range. Some players who appear reasonably tight can have a pretty loose SB 3-betting range out of principal. They'll let 55 go on the button against a CO, but will 3-bet it from the SB against a CO steal.

The flop and turn didn't appear to help his range much, and as your Q and 9 outs may be clean, coupled with the draw on the turn, I think there's not many other ways to play this.

why didn't you want to play the hand like this? Can't see where you could do anything different.

Villains WR is not very interesting since it can have many reasons like too loose or too tight, and that really doesn't help you much . You should have tons of read on him after that many hands and should be able to define his 3-betting range very accurately and playing accordingly shouldn't be to hard.
