Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Kent/Kentucky O51 and VT/LSU U38.5 are looking pretty juicy to me. Only wish I had been there for the openers.
I could see Kentucky getting 51 by themselves and their D is not exactly LSU-like. Last year's game against Central Michigan was 45-36. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
And after consideration I may make an action junkie bet on Kentucky -13 (I'll be at the game), but it's a small edge if any.

Temple -2.5 1.1u to win 1 unit. BG +17, 1u Okla -10, 1u so far OregSt -3, 1u so far PSU -14, 1u Oregon +7, 1u, another unit at 8.5 Rutgers -13, 1u. BYU +7.5, 1u. [/ QUOTE ] Miami u43.5, 1 unit. I hope this goes up so I can load up on it. Only fear is Freeman is so bad even a top 10 Miami D can't keep it close. |

true, but wasn't bowling green just as impressive winning a game on the road as a 14 point dog? I do realized Minny scraped the spread passing attack and used a pound-it-out strategy with much success in the 2nd half v Bowling Green. However, Bowling Green's spread passing attack victimized Minny's defense. Spread attacks dominated MSU last year and I see little reason why that will change. [/ QUOTE ] this sounds like a good argument for betting the over. it opened 54, i could only get 57 now, but i played it anyway. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Is everybody on Georgia just because of last Saturday? I was leaning toward South Carolina early in the year with all their defensive experience, but I'm kinda hesitant to go against the whole forum.

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
My index only affected by Georgia and OKst game minimally for this weekend. SC has an expierneced Defense but they are still not that good of a defense, vulnerable to a strong running game.
SC is also streaky on offense. Essentially they have a QB who will be going through week 1 this weekend. That messes with an offense like this one which relys heavily on timing. SC has some strong defenders returning also this week from injuries or academic reasons but just doesn't make much of difference to my index at least. Neutral field is -8.5 so will gladly take Georgia at home for -5. But you are strong in your analysis and I could be sadly wrong. Don't let us scare you from your skills and trusting yourself. Groups aren't right all the time. |

[/ QUOTE ] -important keys South Carolina gave up a ton of rushing yards to UL-Laf. Georgia stopped one of the top5 offenses in college football. Though the teams are different, Georgia won 18-0 on the road last year. Those are the three important points |
