Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
[ QUOTE ]
only reason i can think of for y'all's lines being so different than the current market, is that dantonio is focusing on a better run offense this season, and it worked in week1, to the tune of 7.8 yards per carry. a dominant running game would lead me to have much more faith in the spartans overall, especially compared to their wild inconsistency in seasons past. [/ QUOTE ] true, but wasn't bowling green just as impressive winning a game on the road as a 14 point dog? I do realized Minny scraped the spread passing attack and used a pound-it-out strategy with much success in the 2nd half v Bowling Green. However, Bowling Green's spread passing attack victimized Minny's defense. Spread attacks dominated MSU last year and I see little reason why that will change. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Added
Georgia -5 1unit Missouri -6 1unit Alabama -3 1.2units (bought the half a point but found it at -3.5 at most places now.) Am waiting for more lines later in week to see if they continue to move in my favor. Oregon has gone to +8.5 now which I am assuming is the Mich crowd saying this will be their big comeback week which I just don't see happening as their D is horrible. Also noticed West Michigan has now gone to +1 so am waiting to see if that continues. Also agree with everyone else on BG but am waiting see if line continues to grow as it gets closer to weekend still at +18 from what I have found. |

you will never ever see me bet or not bet based on how a team does covering spreads historically [/ QUOTE ] I only do this with Boise.... Ive bet them almost every game for the past 4 years, and they have covered huge chalk for me at a 80% or better clip. Maybe not your style, but I love this team against the number week in week out for the most part. I may lay off Boise for a week here or there, but I have yet to ever go against em. Mark it Down... Boise wins by double digits this week, while laying only 3. This will be a laugher by Q3. |

Re: Week 2 NCAAF - project the opening lines
Boise was 6-5-1 against the spread last year according to covers.com, why would you think they have some special spread covering magic?
