Default Re: The Article I Promised Is Now In Our Magazine

I think there was a little bit too much commentary on society through out it. Sentences like "Most Americans..." seem like conjecture when you don't back them up. Plus they don't add anything to the argument.

"Many people don't plan well."
"Many people are easily deceived. "
"If you are like most people, you don't think in terms of probabilities, or you do so very crudely"
"Prejudice is always wrong"
"Most people - especially younger ones - have little experience with diverse people"
"Americans are notoriously impatient"

etc, etc, etc. It doesn't read well at all and makes the argument less effective.

ANYONE has permission to reprint all or part of it ANYWHERE. As long as the 2+2 magazine or its authors are noted. The article is pretty long so most venues might prefer only excerpts or a summary. The simplest summary is just a list of the section headings.

I put it up on poker.se, a swedish newssite. I did not translate it.

Did anyone notice that a link to this article is posted on the PPA's main page?

Do I detect some movement or an oilve branch?
