He is a small stacker and i think he would do this with Top pair and every Kicker. I didn't give him AQ because then he would have reraised me PF to commit. In my Opinion he would do this with every Pair he hits. |

Re: NL5: Hit Top Pair as PF Aggressor
I think you'll see A7, a weaker king or a bluff often enough here to call. You only have to win this a little less than one in three times to break even.
Tip: If you know you're leaving only enough behind to be able to get allin on the next street with reasonable bets/raises then don't bet if you don't want to call an allin raise/bet or bet enough so that an allin raise will be small enough to call profitably on the next street. In other words: If you leave an amount that gives you trouble to call you either left too much behind or put too much in already on earlyer streets. He probably showed a set or AQ here? Keep an eye on him, because some uNL players will only bet this small with the nuts ro close to it. |

Re: NL5: Hit Top Pair as PF Aggressor
He's not a short stack, he's mid-stack. Shortstacks are usually 25 to 30 bbs. Midstacks don't generally shove without TP at least. AQ would normally raise PF, but we don't have any stats on his PF #'s. People talk about stack sizes meaning different things in regards to how villains act in spots, but that is just one small piece of the puzzle. In other words you can't make the statement 'he would do this with every pair he hits' just based on stack size alone. Focus on hand reading, stack sizes just aren't a good enough read. You still have to play poker.
By the way, he's limp/called pf, donk/called a flop raise from you and then donk shoved. What kind of hands do this that you beat? Sounds like a made hand trying to not let you get away when you've shown strength the whole way. |

I didn't give him AQ because then he would have reraised me PF to commit. [/ QUOTE ] He can easily have AQ here along with QQ-AA. But I wouldn´t worry too much about it. He will have Qx or worse here enough for you to call by a fairly wide margin. |
