Default Playing AQs from the BB

UTG is 40/10/3. Never mind preflop.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed)

Hero ($100.00)
UTG ($98.61)
MP ($94.10)
CO ($191.30)
Button ($349.04)
SB ($140.05)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $3.5</font>, MP calls $3.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero calls $2.50.

Flop: ($11) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero...?

What is our plan here? What factors do I consider when to check and when to bet?

I let UTG c-bet here so I can see MPs reaction. If MP raises, I fold. C/c a bet by UTG, and c/c most turns too.

Board is really dry and you have relative position. Check.

Ok, I agree. It continues:

Flop: ($11) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks.

Turn: ($11) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $7</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $35.11</font>, MP calls $35.11, Hero....

I am getting 1:3, but MP's call is strong.

You're even getting over 4:1 (pot after your call 35.11*3+11 = $116.33, and $28.11 to call makes it 4.1:1) and you are closing the action.

I think that could be enough for the flush draw; although the board is paired, the only realistic boat/quads is a slowplayed AA/22/55 and you'll collect some money from a possible lower flush draw.

I think a fold is the best line since we're drawing and oop on a paired board. I usually call w/ these odds, ch/fold river UI or get stacked by a boat on river when I hit.
That's why I'm saying you should fold even though I'm not getting there yet....
