I don't like the turn bet. I agree that if you bet the turn you should fire most rivers.

here was my thinking...
he might call the turn. he might decide to make a loose call with something like JT (for pair + gs) or KJ or something. but if the river is a brick, what can he call with? 77/88/78/T9/QJ is about it. and i think that 77/88/78 and maybe T9 raise flop here a high % of the time. this flop has a ton of hands that can one or maybe two bets, but very few hands that will call down for 3 bets. |

This is the case on every hand dealt. If you four barrel, there are usually very few hands that can call. On this board I think too many of the hands that called the flop are calling the turn too. The board is so coordinated that many hands like two pair and TP will call you down but cannot raise. Trying to get these hands to fold is rarely a winning play
