Default Flopped flush facing push, 2/5 live fairly deep

was playing at the beau rivage in biloxi. villan is a pretty aggressive player who has bought in with about 2k (no max buyin at any of their games). ive seen him make some big plays but never show anything down. i have about 850 in front of me. my image is very straightforward, but tight/aggressive. the only big hands ive shown down have been a set of 7s vs aces and a flopped broadway with AQs

hero in the BB with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

middle position opens for $20 button calls SB calls, i call.

flop: pot $80
A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

checks around

turn: pot :$80
2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero bets $45, MP folds, BTN folds, SB calls

River: pot :$170
4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, Hero bets $200, SB shoves, Hero?

it was just under 600 for me to call

i over bet the river to make it look like i was trying to steal, any comments whatsoever appreciated

Pay tha man homer. If your plan is to overbet, to make it look like a bluff, then your plan MUST be to call any raises?

This is a definite call. He could easily have a smaller flush and think its good..

Looks like a bluff to me, I would snap call. If he shows up with the nut flush here than he might be mentally retarded.

i dont see how you can fold but honestly i dont see you being good too often. live players see a big bet like that and usually only put in more money with you being beat. this guy is probably doing it for value we just have to decide if he has the 2 higher flushes or one of the lower.

its seems pretty obvious that he had nut flush to me. Otherwise there wouldnt be a post but its still an easy call.
