[/ QUOTE ] This year it's def the jetpack. I'd say both offense and defense are equally important. You need to be able to get key scores and key stops when you need to.

take two world-class online madden players with similar records and notoriety, one players known for his explosive offense and high scoring shootouts, and one known for his tenacious buckle down defense and control of field position and the clock. who would you bet on?

And of course it's easy to beat on people who cannot adjust, you run five plays on offense and you're better than 99% of Madden players? Try playing someone who actually knows how to read an offense and make adjustments, then your five recycled plays won't work so well.
