I know it's not, but I figured you guys would know what I meant if I wrote "martingaled". Sorta like if I wrote "I went on martingale tilt yesterday, I only lost 6 buyins but half my roll is gone" - you would understand what I meant, right?

It was a semi-boring post anyway, so just ignore it and carry on.

[/ QUOTE ]
yes that would be an example of how to use "martingale" correctly in a sentence. The word you were looking for was probably "parlay".

Play tighter preflop

[/ QUOTE ]

Anyone have any advice on how to play tighter?

Maybe a hammer next to computer to rap myself on head when I start to play crap? I'm like an alcoholic, I start out rounds with good intentions but then spiral back to playing semi-mediocre hands.

I just sent an e-mail to FTP support to have them turn my chat back on so that I could say NICE HAND to my fellow TAGs. After this happens for the 10th time in a row it's just flat out impolite of me not to drop a compliment or two their way.

Full Tilt Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game
$0.50/$1 Blinds
6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $94.65
BB: $135.30
UTG: $100.00
MP: $174.85
Hero (CO): $100.00
BTN: $80.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($8.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP checks, Hero bets $8.50, MP calls $8.50

Turn: ($25.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
MP bets $25.50, Hero raises to $60.00, MP raises all-in to $162.85, Hero calls all-in for $28.00
Uncalled bet of $74.85 returned to MP

River: ($201.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $201.50 ($3 Rake)

Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Ten high) and LOST (-$100.00)

Villain showed Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and won ($198.50) with a flush, King high

if you don't want to move down and your true winrate is over 10bb/100 I think 300-400 buyins should be reasonable.

That doesn't seem to work.

I guess since I have such a positive outlook on live I only see the beauty in hands like K975 ds OOP. Sure I'll flop 68x suited, no problem.
