Looked passive in the few hands I played. In retrospect, it looks like I should have called the flop bet and evaluated on the turn as to what needs to be done. How often am I behind with bottom two pair here ? How do you all play this ? |

Re: Playing bottom two pair in the BB, facing a flop raise
I had a similar hand earlier today and was just wondering how often does two pair come up against a set on the flop?

I like it. He could be putting you on a strong draw, in which case he could call you with TPGK - and he could be drawing himself.

This is really bad. count the combos that beat you.

I would call the flop raise, then check-fold on that turn card.

Re: Playing bottom two pair in the BB, facing a flop raise
I am definitely trying to get to a cheap showdown unless we boat up. In an unraised pot where a straight is possible you need a set to be cheerful about getting your stack in with no read. Top 2 maybe.
