Default Full Tilt - Fifty Fifty

40/80 Level

9 handed, no reads

Important Stack sizes:
mp(1000)
me MP+1(3500)
BB(4000)

All folds to MP, He raises to 240. We flat call with QQ. all folds to BB who pushes all-in.

Is this a call?

My thoughs: I did not know this player. I felt his range was AK,JJ,KK,AA, and maybe TT. I felt he has AK atleast %50 of the time, maybe even more. I ran some ev calcualations and its looking like I win about 50% of the time in most cases. Does this justfiy a call?

Well in my opinion it seems that he was tryin to isolate the MP raiser because he only had 1000, and he really wanted to play this hand heads up... i dont like the flat call there... i would make it around 725 to go.... than if the BB still pushes you would have to make a descion to make.....

Why just the flat call with QQ with position??

The BB def Does not have AA or KK here... so i think you can eliminate those hands.... it seems like AK JJ or 1010 here..... if you wanna gamble you make the call.... also have to consider a few other things as well..

would really like to know how this turned out... lemme know please!

juss my 2 cents!

Easy call.

Don't be results oriented.

Folding here is awful.

Also, you should tell us what the OR does (although it doesn't matter).

If you're winning 50% of the time, think about all the extra money in there (your original call, the OR) and it's +EV.

Is it really that easy of a call? Getting into every race possible doesnt seem like the best things to do. I would feel alot better if i was the one putting the chips in. But thats not the case, I had to call off my money. I was calling off my chips on what is going to be a race most of the time. I have also seen some players push here with AA or KK becasue of the 1k stack. I can also see JJ doing this as well.

It's not going to be a race nearly as often as you think it is. AK pushes in his situation a lot more than AA/KK.

If you don't understand why a 50/50 with an overlay is a good thing (and something you want every time) you have a lot of reading to do.

Incidently I like the first flat call of the raise. At that stage I doubt the OR is calling a reraise and we aren't too worried about calls behind (although this is obviously very table dependant).

Please never fold here.
