What software did you use? Did you make sure it was saved as an Indexed BMP? Try this one. http://www.mediafire.com/?cr0a39ejjed [/ QUOTE ] I used paint.net thanks for trying, but those aren't the seat open for top view (think those are classic view). I just opened the file as it was in AP and desat'ed, then closed the prgm and saved when prompted. |

The seat open boxes only appear when you aren't actually sitting at the table. When you're sitting, the Seat Empty buttons show instead. And for those you can just black them out in MS Paint to make them invisible. Enervate, Just look through this thread. Everything you need has probably already been posted. To black out the stock avatar logos, go into Absolute Poker\data\gameimage\pk and find the file named new_bt_sit_effect_default.bmp Open in MS Paint, clear image, fill in all black and save. [/ QUOTE ] work a treat. Thanks |

Re: Gray spade deck
Episteme,
Are you wanting to darken out the seat open buttons or just the Empty Seat buttons? Because the seat open buttons only show when you're joining a table. They're replaced by the Empty Seat marker once you sit down. Those are the really annoying ones. I would just black out the empty seat markers. |

Waffle cards don't come out perfect because of the 256-color limitation, but they're still pretty good. http://www.mediafire.com/?eyqskivo0gg [/ QUOTE ] Ok, I am not getting these to work at all. Please explain a step by step after downloading the cards - I took it as savew the files in absolute poker/data/game image/resize - but they dont show up. Also, is it possible to save one set for 4 color & one set for 2 color? Thanks very much. |

Just look through your AP folder and find out where the files ended up, then move them into the right folder. You'll know when Windows asks you to overwrite. You can easily save two decks, but you'll have to rename one set to card_front_2color_s*.bmp to make it happen. It's just a matter of replacing stock images with the new ones. Edit: Some general advice for you guys. Change the folder view to thumbnails in all your AP folders and just browse through your folders. You'll figure out quickly what files serve what purpose, and then you will be on your way to actually understanding what these mods do. Edit: That's not meant to sound hostile or anything. I'm drinking right now so don't take it the wrong way. It's just that most of these mods involved just editing a bunch of bitmap files and replacing them. When you know which bitmaps are which you'll have an easier time making these mods work when my readme files end up being wrong or not particularly clear. |
