A bit earlier, I was thinking about leaving cuz the guy in the first hand is doing pretty good pushing people around. Then I decided to stay a bit and see if I could hit anything good. My image probably isn't great because I've raised some hands and then got pushed off of them pretty easily.
I'm posting this first hand vs. The LAG mostly as setup for the next hand which happened 3 hands later: Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.02/$0.05 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) DEEP SET MINER (SB): $30.35 Hero (BB): $11.58 UTG: $13.35 LAG (MP): $21.44 CO: $2.53 BTN: $10.47 Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG raises to $0.10, LAG calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.05 Flop: ($0.32) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero checks, UTG checks, LAG checks Turn: ($0.32) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero bets $0.25, UTG folds, LAG calls $0.25 River: ($0.82) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $0.45, LAG raises to $1.00, Hero raises to $4.00, LAG calls $3.00 Pot Size: $8.82 ($0.40 Rake) LAG had T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and LOST (-$4.35) Hero had 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a full house, Fives full of Queens) and WON (+$4.07) Alright, I'm not sure if this guy is really a set miner, but he seemed fairly tight and his big stack seems to confirm the idea. I have seen him limp a few hands, but basically no strong info before this: Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.02/$0.05 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $15.65 BB: $13.25 LAG (UTG): $17.09 MP: $2.53 CO: $10.47 DEEP SET MINER (BTN): $30.33 Preflop: Hero is dealt 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) LAG calls $0.05, MP calls $0.05, CO folds, DEEP SET MINER raises to $0.40, Hero calls $0.38, 3 folds Like I said, no strong read, but I'm putting this guy on a big pocket or AK. I was only thinking big pocket at the time. Flop: ($0.95) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $1.00, DEEP SET MINER raises to $5.00, Hero calls $4.00 Before he raises here, he says "suck it darko." Donnie Darko is my avatar. Turn: ($10.95) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, DEEP SET MINER bets $10.25 (my remaining chips) This is exactly what I want right? |

Hand 1: Lead the flop. There's FDs out there, you got a PF aggressor and a "LAG" behind you, just put some $ in there. I donk this flop like always.
Hand 2: Eh... I 3bet this flop. He is obviously going all the way here judging by his bet of 5. You thought he had a big pair, now imagine turn comes an 8 or another diamond. He might reconsider sticking his stack in there and fold to aggression. But yeah, as played, turn is exactly what you want. |
