Default Small pair oop early in a $39 sat

My image is Lag, I have raised and reraised several hands but always shown strength in the showdowns. I'm not sure about the villain because I'm multitabling and it's Saturday morning here in the UK.

Anybody likes the raise preflop and the pot-size bet on the flop?

betting into that flop is really bad with 2 callers behind.
you then have to fold to villain's push, you are either drawing to two outs or if he is drawing to a flush he is likely having 2 overcards giving him at least 15 outs two times.

That's two rags and a Jack, what better flop can you hope for with a small pair?

If we could rule out a J or a mid pair (which of course we can't), it would be the most trivial of calls. DUCY?

I think your flop bet is fine. I would bet ~360. It's unlikely they flopped any decent draw outside of a flush draw, and mid pps will have a hard time continuing after you bet.

After CO shoves, I'd fold very quickly, you only beat a spade draw, while the rest of his range has you crushed.

Just to be clear, I'm bluffing w/ 55 here, I'd make the same bet w/ whiffed overs or like 89dd. You turn your hand into a bluff, because it's going to be difficult to get to showdown if you check, so checking has a cEV ~0, while a bluff has positive expectation. Lastly, if the pot was 4 way, same flop, I would just check/fold.

i hate playing these small pairs i would just open limp. even if your table is playing very tight its not worth it to pick up the blinds.
