Re: Must call down?
yeah it's a pretty coordinated board, but you will see 88, JJ, AQ often enough. fwiw, I don't think there is enough room to 3-bet the turn.

Re: Must call down?
The interesting decision is between 3betting and calling the turn, not between calling and folding the turn. Folding the turn is never an option before the river, even if he shows you a flush.

Re: Must call down?
Yea, I agree with Wook here. I don't think he is raising pre-flop with something big and suited and not raising you on this flop. I could see KQ, AQ playing this way, with or without a heart. Hell, he could be getting fancy with JJ. I don't think I'm folding this river very often.

Re: Must call down?
I play it the same way you do. The turn raise could signal a flush, but it could also signal a flopped set. I view it as wa/wb and just call down.

Re: Must call down?
I'm 3betting the turn.
I expect to see AQ, JJ, A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K, QJ type hands more often than a made flush. If villian did hold two big hearts there is a good chance he would have raised on the flop and there are many more combinations of potential non-flush raising hands on the turn than flush hands for a EP raiser even when 7 handed. |

Re: Must call down?
3-bet the turn, don't fold. The only hands I'd be worried about are AK[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and AT[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and that's only two combos. Many more of JJ/88/AQ.

Re: Must call down?
3-bet turn, call a cap. Given this guy's stat's, he's holding QJs (3 combos) more than Axs/Kxs (since x can ONLY equal T). Throw in a combo of AhQc and you're ahead 2:1 of an incredibly narrow range. Add in the rest of AQ/QJo, slow-played JJ, and crazy-assed AJ/Ahx hands, and you're killing him.
And, if you are behind, you've got 10 outs to a FH/quads. Edit: sorry for the repeats...trying to get back into the swing. |
