I think he has a T here more often than not so I don't like checking at all. He could certainly have an 8 that floated with a gutter and turned a pair. I would only bet/call here if he's the type who seems capable of turning a T into a bluff here, and it sounds like you don't know if he is so I'm leaning towards bet/fold, but I would bet/call vs some here all day.

So I planned on bet/folding. I bet $150 on the river and he pushedfor $420 more. I folded. He showed 44 and left the very next hand, which makes me think this was probably a rare play by him so that line was probably best, but I was interested to see that a fair number of you replied bet/call.

I am still not convinced either way what is the best line.
