Too much action with my set on the river
Hello,
Playing 1/2 NL live at Casino Rama in Ontario. Stacks are $350 deep and the villain is a mediocre player who likes his draws too much. Hero is in the BB with 88. Five players limp and the villain, in the SB completes. Hero checks. The flop ($14) is T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and everybody checks. The turn ($14) is the 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB checks and hero bets $10. Only the SB calls. The river ($34) brings the 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and SB now bets out for $20. Hero raises to $60 total and SB, after thinking for 30 seconds, reraises for another $110. Questions: 1) Should hero call the $110 on the river? 2) What is villain likely to be holding? 3) Should hero have raised the $60 on the river. |
