I make similar pushes like this pretty often. Here are some times when I will consider it:
- When the blinds are about to increase
- When the blinds increasing/passing through me will crush any FE that remains in my tiny stack
- When the future pushing opportunties (or atc situations) I may have are likely to be into lagtards who have a massive range, but my OOP -EV push is into players capable of laying down hands

These are the ranges on put on them.
CO 55+,A7s+,A8o+,KJo+
Button 44+,A7s+,A8o+,KJo+
SB 44+,A6s+,A7o+,QJo+
BB 44+,A5s+,A7o+,QJo+,KTs+
I set min edge on 0.0 and I get
Push hands: 22+,AKo,AQo,AJo,ATo,A9o,A8o,A7o,A5o,A2s+,KTo+,K8s+ ,QTo+,Q9s+,JTo,J8s+,T8s+,98s (26.4%)

What about hands like A2o,K9o,K7s,Q9o,Q8s,J9o+, and etc. They are probably 0.0 to -0.2 ev. Kind of odd though sngpt doesn't give me all the ranges that are 0.0 min edge. I guess 0.0 -$0.15 cent doesn't count as 0.0 min edge.

Slimon, I personally am a bit cautions with A2-A4 here. When you look at the ranges you set for your villains, you'll notice a high percentage of the ranges is composed of mid to high aces. These hands dominate your low aces and quite often leave you drawing to a 3-outter on the lower card. That is why shoving the A2 is bad here and something like JTs is a lot better. If you're shove folds around, it doesn't matter what you have. If someone calls, you want to make sure you have a hand that draws against their range well. Such as two live cards, usually splitting their A low or mid, flush potential and str8 potential. Good luck at the tables.

Those are good points but is it worth it not to push A2o+ here. You will get dominated if they call with Ax with a higher kicker but the blinds are going to hit you soon. Can you pass up on that opportunity?

id push here and i dont think its close but my sng play is a bit rusty. with 5bb its hard to get away from any ace in the co+1 with 5bb. the good thing about having an ace is that its less likely someone else does but i believe sngpt already factors that in. still, if its -ev vs good ranges id still probably push because you have 5bb and are almost posting a BB, which ICM sucks at realizing.
