Using EPassporte Visa to buy chips at AC?
AC = Atlantic City
Is this possible? Is it subject to the $600 weekly transaction limit? How would I cash in the chips, can they put the money back on the visa? |

Re: Using EPassporte Visa to buy chips at AC?
You might get more help in B&M, as I suspect there's no difference in ePassporte policy, and your question is really how/if AC casinos will give you money off a card.
(Unless it's not an actual card, just a number...then I'd guess getting anything but derision and blank stares would be difficult at best.) I seem to recall seeing cash advance windows or some such, but I don't know exactly what they do, or how they're any better/worse than the $4 fee at the ATM. I'm reasonably sure you have to turn your ePassporte into cash and then cash into chips. (They can't take a check for chips, I'd be surprised if they could take plastic for chips.) Cashing out I don't think they'll offer any options besides cash, cashier's check and wire (those last only for large amounts). Asking them to cash you out to a card is setting yourself up for certain blank stares, I think. |

I have used it to withdraw prior to going to AC to buy chips. I dont think it will work like a CC at the cash advance window and I dont recommend you trying.
