how old are you?

You might try contacting the better business bureau explaining that you got ripped off, that it was an impulse buy and a mistake and that you in no way can afford it and see if they will help you. They should be able to put more pressure on the dealership than you. Additionally you should contact who ever financed you explain your finances to them and why you can't afford it. Again they will have much more influence than you.

Just trying to give a fellow 2p2er the benefit of the doubt, though now that I think about it, he's done precious little to deserve it.

OP, if you really can't afford it and can't handle the hit to your credit a repo will cause, sell it and eat the difference as a lesson. You get 18 back, buy a $12k car or whatever and start over, hopefully wiser.

In the last few years the low end of mass market cars has improved tremendously as car companies try to hit the young professional market.

wow. No one forced him to turn into their lot, get out of his car, select a vehicle of his choice, agree to terms and stroke a check for 9k as a down payment.

If OP lost at a casino would you tell him to call the BBB and cry to them he was ripped off?

OP, good luck and I hope it works out well for you.

No because in that case unlike this one the OP does not have an asset (the car) which he can return to the casino. Entirely different situation. And I did not say it wasn't the OP's fault what I did was give a possible way for the OP to get out of his poor decision. I don't really care if he learns a lesson or gets what he deserves blah blah blah.

I cut a down payment check of 9k (which still hasn't been cashed yet) and financed another 14k.
