Re: Give me a RANGE
I'd rather make this kind of play on the turn, but I think it's fine here since he bet the pot into a 3b pot. Your line is kind of funky tho, I'd just b/3b the flop in this spot.

Re: Give me a RANGE
I guess his calling range is JJ+, AcKc. You aren't doing that bad against this range. The problem is that unless he's calling really light pre-flop he's not bet/folding a lot on this flop...

Re: Give me a RANGE
Sick burn. Take criticism, this play is poor.

Re: Give me a RANGE
My problem here is that very very often this is the exact line I take with AA and KK and the reason I do it is because for some reason people love to call this line with 88<.

Re: Give me a RANGE
This is alright in some specific spots. If villain's a nit calling all ins then sure. As for ranges, the calling range is very situation specific...this is my best guess.
Pre-shove range: 88+, AK, A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q Calling Range: JJ+, A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I don't have pokerstove so i dunno about the EV of that. I'd like it if we had the Ac though |
