Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
u wont get reraised here that often, see aj and kj calling. with 2 callers there are likely a lot of bad turn cards for you

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
wtf is going on in this thread? some of the advice is downright bad, and when i read something that i think starts to be correct it turns out the resoning is assbackwards.
if we raise this flop and then call a shove were lighting money on fire |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
You're button and they both called from the blinds, so I think you can raise/stack off much more lightly here.
Lag would almost certainly 3-bet 88/JJ and could very well be looking to bet/3-bet all in with JT/J9/98. BB probably has a draw, and if not I doubt either or them are going to be willing to fold JK/JA on such a drawy board. I like raising and calling a shove. |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
This is how I played the hand. I just smooth called the flop bet because the SB lead AND the other player called. If it was just the SB then surely I am raising the flop. The turn was a blank raised all in.
I lost the hand but I think I playes it ok no? The bet and call on the flop is pretty much what froze me from raising the flop. Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
im probably just calling the turn too, and folding river if he shoves.
nobody 3 barrel bluffs on dry boards like that, and nobody is value shoving top pair there into the PFR but youre line isnt bad at all - much better than getting it in on the flop |

Re: Raised QQ pf. Bet into by a LAG on a J78 board
i dont like the way you played it too much, there are just too many bad turn cards for this line. not raising because of bb on the flop is not a good idea too as he likely has a draw while flat calling.
