Derby buy Kenny Miller for 3mil. Total act of desperation he never scored more then 11 goals in a top division and that was the SPL.

I read somewhere it's to save them money. Luton have a sell-on clause with him, so by getting Villa to pay a chunk to take him on loan instead of the entire fee and a permanent move they waste less. No idea if it's true or not though.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Villa will be able to buy Davis at a more affordable price next summer(most likely, unless Davis has a sick year this year), so West Brom is just doing it so that Luton get a lesser fee. I'm pretty sure that West Brom are resigned to losing him even if they do go up this season

we should have a betting pool on how many pts they grab up this season. I think that they'll be lucky to get 19. The real bet is gonna be how much will they sell Giles Barnes for next season(or in the jan window if they are as awful as we think that they'll be)

Chelsea wont have only one RB for long. Id be shocked if they didnt nab alves before the window closes.

Anyone see wengers interview where he mentioned that adriano was offered to him on loan. Inter wanted someone in return who arsene wouldnt name. Its funny supporting a club with a manager like wenger. You hear he turns down adriano, but you know that if wenger made that call, that its probably correct. I rarely ever second guess him.

Fulham: Diop off to Portsmouth for 3mil silly move he was immense for them when I went down with city broke up our attacks before we even got to the back four.

the only possible person that would make sense for Inter to make that kind of move for is Fabregas, and yea, it would be massively dumb for Wenger to do what is essentially a swap of Adriano and Fabregas. I know it sounds kinda weird, but it's easier to find a 15-20 goals a year striker then it is to find a marshall like Cesc

edit: The player going to Inter doesn't make a difference to Inter. Sending Adriano out on loan has two potential positive outcomes.

He plays well and they are able to sell him
-or-
He plays well and comes back pwning Serie A.

If he flops, they basically are in the same situation. Arsenal seems like a good place to go because Wenger is a genius.
