Default river wtf mate?

k, so not many were fans of my river raise in a previous post. What bout here?

I haven't rly got much on villain, he hasn't shown down yet but after bout 20 hands seems somewhat active (not laggy but has been involved in bout a 3rd of his hands & taken a couple of pots down without SD). I has a read on MP but that doesn't matter for the river!

Preflop, I'm folding this hand. KQo isn't strong enough to 3bet as you're usually dominated by the raiser in front of you.

Post-flop, I probably just call down (as you did on the flop but not turn or river). I think that this is a situation where you're wa/wb preflop raiser, and by not raising you induce SB to stay in the hand and offer you dead money. As for the river, preflop raiser's bet indicates that s/he has at least top pair, in my opinion. Since you don't have many reads on the him/her, I'm just calling.

This is really read dependent. In my experience we are ahead here often, so I don't think a raise is that bad. But with so few hands agaisnt villain I probably take the safe show-down line. That is call.

3-bet kqo against mp raiser is standard. I think river is good we are only afraid of AK.

actually yeah its not as bad as i thought. didnt realise we were 5 handed.

still raise and fold cant be too different in +ev without a sizeable postflop edge

IMO i think you need to raise KQo you have a lot of equity against: a8o+ a6s+ kto+ k9s+ qjo+ qts+ t9s+ 55+

And this is a really tight range

Reraising a CO opener with KQ is completely standard PF.

On one hand it's hard to come up with a hand beating you that didn't cap PF, or bet the turn. On the other hand your turn raise shows alot of strength. Maybe A2? Maybe AK didn't cap PF and got scared but pulled the old stop and go donk? I don't know so I call.

You're all right, really. I think OP left out an import bit of information. Is this a full ring table or a SH one?

River is standard though.
