this would be pretty bad/awkward spot for villain to ch/r spade draws, and thats all i can see you beating here. he has to put you on a strong to very strong hand after you raise utg and then bet that flop with 2 other players in

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's an even more awkward spot to check raise so little w/ a big made hand when it is vulnerable to flush draws in a multi-way pot.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, given villain's description I really really hate folding here.

i always end up calling the flop because the c/r isn't too big, then i find myself in another tough spot when the the sb leads strong on a blank turn, to which I usually fold.

then i wonder whether i should have called the flop. but still, after calling the flop, the sb leading the turn, especially into multiple players, is some extra valuable information, and we can more confidently fold the turn.

i feel like i'm rambling, hopefully I got my point across.

The only hands that beat us that he could have here is 44 or A4. I think a 34/27 guy repop AQ preflop a lot and QQ always.

This is a flushdraw very often. We have position, I call the flop raise.

Yeah if I call flop it's with the intention of pushing a blank turn, and folding a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] if he bets.

It sucks when the turn is a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and he checks though. You don't beat much then but trying to bluff here would be bad.

agree w/ unknown soldier if you call the c/r its w/ intentions of shoving blank turns. I also like this line better than 3b shoving flop. its still a tough spot either way, I think I give him credit since its multi-way and fold.

the more i think about it the more this becomes a clear all in or call and push over his turn bet when spades dont hit. I think i reraise flop tho and the draw is exactly what i put him on. a fold here is bad.
