captain planet,

if you time out at any time, you lose?

Oops, I forgot to specify that one. The 30-second rule would also apply to timing out. (i.e. after timing out at a table I have 30 seconds to sit back in or join a new table).

I'll give anyone who reads this 3:1 that I will beat them 4/7 games in NHL 94 for Sega. we would play online.

I'll lay $300 to your $100.

if anyone is interested, let me know, we'll discuss details.

[/ QUOTE ]

I may be interested in this bet, though I haven't played in some time. What site would this be done on? You can PM me with more info if still interested.

FWIW you can add a drug-free stipulation anyway if you want, as long as it doesn't include caffeine.

edit- also upon further consideration i agree with scwhiza that i would need 3 breaks for the 72-hr one, mostly because i will prob be downing a lot of red bull

CP,

How much money are you talking about? I would probably be willing to take the bet for 72 hours, if we add the stipulation that you must be +$ at the end of the session. 2:1 sounds fair.

we would play online via emulators. it takes a bit of setup, and you either need a USb controllerr (cheap on ebay) or play on your keyboard, but I'm an idiot and was able to figure it out.

Sega Version.

Manual goalies, line changes off, penalties off.

10 minute periods.

either of us can use any team except for Chicago & the 2 All Star Teams.

In past threads when marathons are mentioned, there are always a few people that claim it would be easy to run one with no training, or run at a certain pace with no training, etc. I'd like to see a bet for someone to run a sub-4 hours marathon with no training. Not sure how you could monitor that someone hasn't been training, but it would be a good bet.

Any takers?
