FT connection issues

I am constantly being sat out at Full Tilt because I am disconnected momentarily and then reconnected about 10 seconds later. I am using a wireless usb adapter to connect to the internet. It would be hard to hardline my computer because I am renting a room that does not have an ethernet cable in it. All other poker clients work flawlessly besides FT. What can I do?
