Default NL100: Not a play id usually make

<font color="blue">Ok, Im quite ready for everyone to rubbish this hand. Its not something id usually do and rightfully so.

Villian is 30/8/2 over around 60 hands and is your average bad but not terrible player who calls to much. </font>

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($74.90)
UTG ($24.55)
UTG+1 ($140)
MP1 ($42.40)
MP2 ($48.50)
Hero ($98.50)
CO ($16.95)
Button ($24.60)
SB ($149.85)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB calls $3.

Flop: ($8.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, Hero checks.

Not really sure why i checked here. Just mixing up my play i guess.

Turn: ($8.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $14</font>, Hero calls $8.

Delayed cbet, and his small c/r reeks of a bluff so i call

River: ($36.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $20</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $80.5 (All-In)</font>

Hes got nothing and is trying to buy his way out of his bluff so i shove.

Thoughts?

The hand sucks. But you knew that. Why post it in a strategy forum?

Why pull a bluff on someone who calls too much?

Seems pretty bad. Bet the flop, don't shove the river with air against a station who already has half his stack in the pot.

This is a very good point. If he calls too much, you should be trying to target that by value-betting him with your made hands, not trying to bluff him.
