Re: Shopping on ebay

[ QUOTE ] WIA, If HK tailors as a group demonstrate anything it's that bespoke does not necessarily mean quality. Most of their work is shoddy. And there's the issue of going to HK. [/ QUOTE ] Any details abou tthis? I was thinking of getting a WWChan suit in November when they come to the states. [/ QUOTE ] Depends on where you go. There are some first class tailors and some cheap, shoddy ones. Sam's Tailor is world famous for making suits for celebrities, presidents, and royalty. I'm not familiar with WWChan. If they're big enough to come to the states, chances are they're pretty high quality. |

Re: Shopping on ebay
Amazon is great for buying/selling back books, CDs, video games, DVDs etc. Rare books or music might be different. Audiogon is good for high end stereo equipment. golfclubexchange.com is good for golf clubs. eBay is good for lots of stuff though.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I am an avid ebayer both buy and sell. If I am looking for anything I check there first. I just sold a couple of toy trucks and with that money bought phil gordons litle green book (9.00 including shipping). I love to browse the "Weird Stuff" section. You find stuff like: Shoulder Fired Toilet Paper Bazooka - Plans - NEW!!! buy it now 9.99 Way cool! [/ QUOTE ] did you buy one? [/ QUOTE ] I did not. It wasnt that I didnt want one, my wife talked me out of it and that is one reason I love her so. [/ QUOTE ] it's still on - i searched because i wanted one - but for $9.99 it's the plans only. |
